EPIROC SERVICE CENTER

This project for Epiroc involved the new construction of a 29,500 SF pre-engineered metal building and covered canopy that will serve as this location’s new service facility. A unique feature of this building are the four bridge cranes, which allow for the manipulation of large-scale mining equipment brought in for servicing and rebuilding. This building also includes ground mounted specialty HVAC units, designed to bring in 100% outside air, as the work performed in the apparatus bay prohibits the use of recycled air due to the carcinogens present in the exhaust, from the equipment. This building was an addition to the EPIROC Tucson Campus.
