The Salvation Army Hospitality House
The Salvation Army Hospitality House is a 33,500 square foot, LEED Silver Certified facility. Constructed with steel frame and masonry blocks, the house features 100 beds with separate accommodations for men and women. It houses two, family-style apartments and the Tucson area Salvation Army administrative offices. There is a commercial kitchen that provides two meals a day to those staying at the facility and, at times, additional outreach. The Salvation Army Tucson provides over 50,000 meals annually.
After completing the construction of the new facility, we demolished the existing, dilapidated hospitality house.
