LEED® Silver Certification Awarded to the Salvation Army Hospitality House
Lloyd Construction is pleased to announce that the Salvation Army Hospitality House was awarded LEED® Silver Certification, on Monday, January 25, 2016. The new, facility replaced an existing facility that was over 50 years old.
Features of the 33,500 SF facility include

Some of the project attributes that contributed to the LEED® Silver Certification include
• | 88% of construction waste was diverted from the landfill and recycled |
• | Recycled material made up 14% of all of the materials that went into the building |
• | Low emitting carpet, paint, adhesives and wood products were used in construction |
• | A solar hot water system was installed |
